We are seeking a reliable and compassionate NEMT Driver located in the Wisconsin Rapids/ Stevens Point Area and Michigan's Upper Peninsula to join our team. Duties:
- Safely and efficiently drive company vehicles to transport passengers, to designated locations This includes Wheelchair, Ambulatory, Cot or
Stretcher Rides - Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior and exterior
- Provide excellent customer service to passengers or clients during transportation
- Follow specific routes or delivery instructions as provided by the company
- Assist with loading and unloading of passengers
Qualifications:
- Must be 25 and older
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and be able to pass drug screening
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with passengers or clients and the head office
- Knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations
- Ability to navigate using GPS or other navigation systems, MUST have your own smart phone with internet/Data Plan
- Ability to bend, twist , lift , push heavy items when required for the position
- Willing and able to work with clients with disabilities, immune compromised, and elderly.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work
- Be able to drive in all weather conditions or dark
- Be a team player
- Willing and able to be flexible with hours and schedule.
